Second verse, same as the first

Today's FRER showed exactly the same result as yesterday's. Exactly. In my paranoia, I thought the second line on today's was actually a little lighter than yesterday's, if that's even possible, but when I compared the two side by side (shut up yes I saved my pee stick DON'T JUDGE ME), they were identical.

12dpiui. I'm, um, cautiously optimistic. Will continue peeing on things until Sunday's beta, hoping for darker lines.

How about calling your clinic for an early beta? I couldn't resist!

A positive is a positive. My doc told me you can't use the peesticks quantitatively, so try not to read too much into it (hard to do, I know). Hang in there.

I did consider trying to get an early beta, but--this may sound dorky--my husband is working all day Saturday, into the evening, and I'd kind of like us to be together when I get the beta results. (Plus I don't want to wait by the phone all by myself!)

That's good. Very, very, very good. Right with you in the cautious optism, and hoping to see a good beta number on Sunday!

LOL at you peeing on "things." Just the sticks, right? ;)

Thalia is right - positive is positive.

Cheering for you!!

Wanting to share the wait with your husband actually doesn't sound dorky at all. And while you wait for your magic number...you have very good reasons to be cautiously optimistic...because a line is a line is a line is a line...

I tried to comment on your last post, but stupid Blogger wouldn't let me. As Thalia said, a positive is a positive, especially considering that you are now well past the point when hcg from Ovidrel would remain in your system. Remaining cautiously optimistic for you!

When I took a host of pregnancy tests post-IVF, none of them exhibited particularly strong second lines. In fact, after the first day's tests, the second lines seemed to weaken. The fetus is still hanging around the ute now at 30 weeks, so as the others have said...pay no attention to the strength/weakness of the second line!!

Whenever I used FRER I always got light lines. Get the digital,it is neat. Then you don't have to squint at lines.
Good Luck on Sunday can't wait to hear the results.

Well! This is the first time I've stopped by, and I encounter such news! Look at you!

Hoping this continues to go well, wonky uterus sister.
