You know you're sleep deprived when...

...you wake up at 1 a.m. to the sound of the baby crying and think, "Shh, not so loud, you'll wake the baby."

(Yeah, sleep regression still in full force. I am beginning to wonder, at what point does it cease to be a regression and merely becomes your baby is a crappy sleeper? Moxie told me it WILL end--maybe not for another month or so, but it will end--and I so want to believe her. Our new theory: Bat Girl is trying to kill us through sleep deprivation so she can get her hands on those fat new life insurance payouts.)

Oh man I am with you on this. I get one good nights sleep and I think-- YES!! It is over, and then the next night is a total loss. Ugh- If it is not one thing it is another... no sleep is a part of being a parent I think

Mine currently WILL NOT nap, which she still desparately needs, and now also wakes up at night with nightmares related to her recent surgery.

So, not much sleepin' going on here, either. I'm with you.

Zzzzzz....

You're going to want to stab me in the head for saying this, but P's 8/9 month regression lasted almost three months. Drove me up the mothereffing wall...

"They" said the four-month sleep regression is the worst, and the nine-month one is a close second. I beg to differ. If the four-month sleep regression were like this, we'd have been looking up the return policy....

BTW, this: ...you wake up at 1 a.m. to the sound of the baby crying and think, "Shh, not so loud, you'll wake the baby." - sadly true when you have twins.

I would love to have a baby that actually slept well enough to regress! ;-) Crappy sleeper camp over here. Up last night from 1 am to 5 am. What's my name again?

oh man...I am so sorry, I was really hoping that things were getting better. I now it looks like there is no end in sight, but Batgirl can't possibly wake up every night until she is 18..right?

Hi there,

I hope you daughter gets to sleeping better soon!

I have an infertility question for you. My last Follistim cycle was suddenly cancelled because I overstimulated. I was totally devastated. I am now going on glucophage only. I remember you posting that you took it. Did you take the generic or name brand? The RE says the brand name is easier on the GI system, and was just wondering your experience?

P.S. When your UU was diagnosed, did they think it was a good size for what it was? Just curious.

Thanks for your continued help!

Oh wow... Every time I read someone talking about sleep regression I have to remember to count my blessings. He may be continually on the go when he is awake and fully wear me out then but when he is down for the count he is down and out.
