Arrived

Bat Girl has landed! Feb. 5, 9:03 a.m., 6 lb 7 oz, 18 1/2 inches. I would have updated earlier but have been trapped in hospital all week with no internets. It's been a long week filled with breastfeeding struggles, jaundice, and emotional upheaval, but we are home now and our daughter is unbelievably beautiful. I can't believe she is here. I still look at her and think, "Wait, she's mine? I get to keep her?

Will post more when I can formulate more than 3 complete sentences at a time. Thanks for all your good wishes. I love you guys.

Oh, CONGRATS!!!!! She's here! Wow! I can't wait for pictures and a birth story!!

(And kellymom.com is full of breastfeeding info, if you're prone to middle-of-the-night research like I was. ;o)

Congratulations! Can't wait to hear more about your little girl.

I second the kellymom.com recommendation, and also add that there is great access to a lactation consultant and many other breastfeeding experts on the ivillage message board:
